Just after finishing the Academy, we had an OUI accident with injuries on Halloween evening. I had an "argument" with the other officer (he was the FT'r) that we could request a blood sample at the hospital. He insisted that we couldn't. Five hours later when we got the prisoner back to the PD, he flew thru the Breathalyzer and "walked". His passenger (Cousin) ended up with a broken leg from the accident (drove 100' off the road and hit a large Oak tree.
