That's the F-15E, the Strike Eagle. The basic "mighty mighty Eagle" is only for Air to Air. Even the gun is canted upwards 3 degrees so it gets better range in the air, but makes strafing difficult.

I was in a an Air to Air F-15 unit, so I'm just being difficult.

and one should very carefully look at how russia uses its military 'ethnic diversification' in ukraine and who is fighting there against ukrainian slavs.
as more undocumented immigrants you get here and more of them goes into the service - those will be the people to come after you all to shoot you down at 3am in the morning. and they will show no mercy. as it is how it gets done.

Our army (like most) is at its worst when fighting asymmetrical wars. We have never figured out how to do it, because doing it well is either expensive or destructive or both, and we lack the patience (except our Green Berets, and there aren't many of those). Doctrinally, our army prefers to hang back, set the conditions it wants, and avoid taking losses. It's a national trait of our military, and it always has been. That kind of army is easy for insurgents to fight.

By definition, a domestic insurgency would be an asymmetrical war.

If we want our army to lose in that scenario (and, on NES, we do), then we should embrace our lack of F-15s and nukes. We should be champing at the bit to fight that asymmetric war. Because there's no way our army can win it.

F-15's are sitting on the runway at Barnes AFB in Westfield, my AR is in my safe. you can destroy a lot of things quickly with an F15,
so if you want to rule over rubble, it is a fantastic option.
you cannot police a population with an F15 and expect to have anything left to rule over.
you need people on the ground to oppress a population and they move slower and take less damage than your typical fighter aircraft
