44/40 is a pain to reload but that price makes it worth it.

Back in the day, I reloaded a S-ton of 45LC ammo. Thousands upon thousands of rounds.

Fortunately I have a ton of brass and lead bullets but I haven't seen the 200gr .427 JSP bullets in a very long time.

Component prices are up so it probably costs me 30 cents to make a lead bullet reload but I have brass. I don't see .427 jacketed bullets.

Yea, IDK why but I really enjoy shooting it, I mean .44 spl will basically do the same thing a lot cheaper. I do like loading it too.

I don't know why either. I only load it for a friend. I've tried to talk him into a 44 magnum but he insists on 44/40.
