Can anyone tell me if a Remington ShurShot stock would be legal on a 11-87 (semiautomatic shotgun) that has a magazine tube extension to raise the capacity to 5+1? I'm trying to decide on a shotgun for primarily IDPA-DMG (and occasionally breaking clays).

I'm not sure if that qualifies as a "(ii) a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon; "

It is more of a thumbhole stock, but from what I was able to google thumbhole stocks are a bit of a grey area.

Though I just realized the MA AWB definition is a magazine capacity OVER 5 rounds. Seems like a capacity of exactly five rounds (plus one in the chamber) would still allow a pistol grip. Oh well, I feel dumb now...
