I heard this on bearingarms.com and it's insane how much they cut out! When the movie came out I was surprised at the awkward silence. However, the full audio of the real answers to her question would make pro2A supporters proud.

The director admits to the edit:

“There are a wide range of views expressed in the film," said Soechtig, the director, in a Wednesday statement. "My intention was to provide a pause for the viewer to have a moment to consider this important question before presenting the facts on Americans' opinions on background checks. I never intended to make anyone look bad and I apologize if anyone felt that way.”

Couric, who narrated and served as executive producer, offered the following: "I support Stephanie's statement and am very proud of the film."

I blame Virginia Citizens Defense League for agreeing to be in the film, rather than blaming the filmmaker -- You don't blame the scorpion for behaving true to it's nature.
