Anti-gun press event at the State House today?

Walked up to the Common at lunch just now and there was some sort of event going on towards the State House side. Female speaker (I'm guessing Maura) was talking about how the evil NRA wants current laws enforced and that's exactly what she's doing. I had to make a call so I didn't walk over there until it was basically over but I saw Markey in front of the cameras. Didn't see any GOAL posters or anything and can't seem to find any info (GOAL site isn't loading on my stupid phone). Anyone know what was going on exactly and why today?

Been checking the news. Nothing about this particular event, but I did find out that Healey got slapped with a subpoena from a federal judge in Texas yesterday regarding the ExxonMobil bullshit.

BOSTON — Attorney General Maura Healey on Friday predicted that she will win a lawsuit filed by a national gun rights group over her interpretation of the state's assault weapons ban.

This summer, Healey angered gun rights supporters when she interpreted a ban on assault weapons to make illegal certain types of guns that are similar to assault weapons. Around 10,000 of those so-called "copycat" assault weapons were sold last year in Massachusetts.

these folks dont need the numbers per say..... they are constant nag in the side of gov. They dont give up they dont stop... plus many are buddy buddy with the elected elite...
