What was your impression of prices in general? Anything stand out as a particularly good or bad deal?

I live across the street, everytime these come up I feel like I should go on vacation because it will be less expensive.

A matching 1899 Gew 98 by Mauser/Obendorf went for $7500. About $2K high, but nearly impossible to find.

The other DOU43 was a stock and hand guard mismatch because I had them check. Went for $1050 with premium for a $6-700 rifle.

The good stuff always brings absurd prices. I remember Patton's pistol selling for astronomical numbers as well as a matching original blue 1939 US Property Colt 45 with the right web belt, holster, 3 2 tone mags that brought 26K a few years back.

It comes down to two people with money that want it.
