Visited Amoskeag Auctions (Manchester, NH) today for the first time. Worth the trip just to see/handle the firearms. Is it worth attending the auction?

The auctions are fun if you enjoy watching people pay, for example, $8,500 for an original, unopened box of cowboy ammo - with a straight face.

Amazing how much money some of the buyers burn through in a very short time.

But it is fun fondling the 1941 Johnsons and other rare guns prior to bidding.
