30mm is slightly bigger than an inch.
Than thing looks like 90mm.

Many late model fighter jets carry a 30mm cannon, including the French Rafale and the Russian Sukhoi. Once the missiles are expended, at least the jets still have a potent weapon.

Rafale's GIAT 30 M791 fires a 30 x 150mm round.The Russian 30mm is more like a 30 short compared to the A10. Not sure of the Rafael

A couple from my collection. These are from Bosnia (1995) and Kosovo (1999). Ive got one from Iraq (2003) and Afghanistan (2014) floating around but they don’t have cool stickers. All are DU and had been fired in anger.
