“Leave Her Alone!”- Man Fires Warning Shots to Stop Homeless Man from Violently Mugging Helpless Woman in NYC Subway – Police Respond by Arresting him

There's actually a good show of force vid up this week from some Florida sheriff's showing quick restraint to NOT shoot a guy when they might could have.

I commend the officer on the ground with his pistol out who likely had a broken leg and pelvis at the time NOT taking the shot.

The dude in NYC. Should have taken the shot, not pulled a Biden "Two Blasts".

Too bad that Florida cop wasn't off duty and on vacation at that time and in that place. He would be covered by LEOSA and not have to worry about New York's mandatory minimum 3.5 years in state prison for unlicensed possession of a handgun.

Some of the comments in the Twitter link are sad. People saying that white men with guns fantasize about killing blacks and that this is why we have police.
Just guessing but, I imagine these are the same people that wanted to get rid of the police last week.
I bet they would have the same reaction even if this was their daughter, sister, or wife.
Statist cucks love being cucked.
Covid proved that.
Just the cabal pushing the police state narrative. More cameras, more tracking software, mandatory digital id’s, a disarmed populace with their abilities to freely move heavily restricted by the state. Keep allowing criminals to get off while prosecuting good Samaritans and people will clamor for more government action, and they’ll get something horrific.
This is the problem with crimes against the state or crimes without a victim.
This guy pulled a gun and fired warning shots.
Extremely stupid thing to do but, imo if he didn’t hurt anyone or damage their property, no harm no foul.
However, if he did, then tough shit for him, no excuses.

Simps never win.
This one took a big loss compared to other simps.
You ain’t kidding, and this is what the damsel in distress had to say about Simp Simpington, he didn’t simp hard enough for her because he used a gun and didn’t risk his own physical health by getting into hand to hand combat with a drug-fueled psychopath:

“Of course, I am happy that that man tried to help me and that nobody was injured during this incident, but it’s scary to think that people are carrying guns around the city. I understand why people do it, they see it as their only means of protection," she said to the New York Post. In this case the man risked a lot to protect me, his safety, and the safety of other people on the platform. Yes, I do think he is a hero, but I don’t know, I would likely think him a bigger hero if he tried to help me without the gun. In my eyes, the gun is a little extreme."

shooting a guy for robbing some woman's purse IS a little extreme!
and the guy was shooting into a subway station, and easily could have hit others.

i see a Rambo wannabe here. NOT the way a trained CCW carrier should react

I thought he saw a woman being attacked and screaming, hard to differentiate from a purse snatch. I don’t know if he has any physical disabilities that would make getting into a physical altercation an even dumber move, he looked like he was limping when the police were escorting him to the car. Shooting warning shots was not a bright move, especially given the surroundings. Heck, maybe he was just a bad shot and was actually trying to hit the guy and then just said he was shooting warning shots when he missed?

Secret Service agents are trained CCW carriers. The other day, one of them fired at a group of three men trying to break into a locked and unoccupied government vehicle, in the Georgetown section of DC. The agent was never identified and remains on duty. I can only imagine what would happen to any of us commoners if we fired at someone trying to break into our cars.

The precedent should be set that lethal force is justified for protection of property.

I know, but it should be.
