I used to be like that, then I realized whenever some 4th world shithole goes off the deep end for one reason or another we like to import a bunch of their backward, illiterate, double-digit IQ sporting cavemen (and women). Rhodesia was an Athenian democracy with both literacy and income and property-ownership tests for eligibility to vote. This had the effect of making 90+% of the white population able to vote and just a few percent of the black population.

It was a morally indefensible system for sure but it is a fact that no-one was excluded from voting on the basis of race.

Rhodesia did work pretty well however for all its citizens with access to both health care and education for all. Unemployment was low. The country was the breadbasket of sub-Saharan Africa.

Rhodesia is vilified along with apartheid South Africa but neither country was nearly as racist or evil as they are painted now. The armed forces of both countries were fully integrated, for example.

My father served in the French army for 27 years, in the rice fields of Indochina and the desert of Algeria. Wounded 6 times. His brother has fallen in Dien Bien Phu. My brother served in Kosovo and Ivory Coast. My niece is a combat medic in the first parachute regiment. They are all, even the girl, several times over, more of men and fighters than your pansy softy ass will ever be. Remind me, when did you sign up, put a uniform on and set foot on a battlefield? You're probably some daisy with a cubicle job who hasn't been in a serious fight in his entire life. Remind me real quick, what makes you an alpha, and what gives you the right to call better men than you "betas"?

I appreciate how tough you guys are. Many people know that I am not cut out for the military and that is why I respect the vets so much. After watching so many documentaries on war I can admit that I would not do well. Because of that, I know my limitations. You are right, those guys are more alpha males that I. I'm sorry for implying otherwise. Please accept my apology.

Back on topic. I am amazed that the army over there gets ANYTHING under control. In all my time in Africa, I've never encountered an African soldier who had anything resembling marksmanship or soldiering qualities. Heck, some of them couldn't even read or write. Even their officers (captain) wouldn't know east from north on a map. A complete shitshow. I signed 2 RPGs and a case of rockets out of their armory and signed with "brigadier general Julius Cesar" and they didn't bat an eyelash. So, I wouldn't exactly count on them to get anything sorted out over there. Their best chance is to bring back the Rhodesian light infantry.
