YHM flip sight

It appears to use a standard front sight post, so yes, you should be able to.

It looks like it will work but don't know for sure. I've never used one of those but it seems like the big drawback would be your front sight is only adjustable to 5 MOA instead of 1 MOA (really 5/4 MOA for the A2) since you have to spin it 360 degrees for each adjustment. But I guess you're not bulls eye shooting at night

EDIT: Also note that the detent on flip up is on the right as oppose to the front, so it looks like the post in that photo has the notch on the right but some of these specialty posts do not.

Ya im not looking for bulls eye shooting sights these are going to be my back up sights if my red dot fails/battery dies.
Edit:Well i ended up buying this http://www.midwayusa.com/product/454763/yankee-hill-machine-flip-up-front-sight-gas-block-height-ar-15-lr-308-aluminum-matte because it says right in the description that it accepts standard AR-15 sight posts so i figured its better to be safe then waste money buying parts that might not fit together.

The first one is a better product but they'll both work. Both use standard posts.

FYI, it looks like the first sight you posted goes on the hand guard rail, although from the product description it's not so clear. The second one definately says it mounts on the gas block. Each would be a different height and are not interchangeable. Where were you planning on mounting it?

It's better because it's lighter and less obstrusive.

Looks right to me but gun parts are deceiving to me sometimes. I'm sure you could return it if you have to.
