XS Big Dot install

I am looking at trying out some big dots on my new shield. I do not want to attempt the install reading all the horror stories on removing the rear sight. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good gunsmith close to the Cape? I could also send them to XS but I will be out a gun for 4 weeks and it is $40 for the install plus shipping back and forth.

Or should I just go for it with out having any real gunsmith tools?

Greg Derr in Marshfield is not too far off the Cape and he is as good as it gets.

I put big dot sights on my Shield with no problems, rear sight came out easy. Take it to Dan at ODS in Yarmouth, he's got a sight pusher and he might be willing to let you use it.
