WI - Bar Owner Shoots Two Teen Intruders

Two teenagers allegedly broke into a bar near Hayward, Wisconsin, early Tuesday morning with the intention of stealing booze and cash. But, they instead found themselves face to face with the bar owner who shot both of them, according to police.

"I gave the guy every opportunity at gun point,” said Bill Campbell, the owner of Countryside Bar, which is about 10 miles outside of Hayward Wisconsin.

Campbell described what happened Tuesday afternoon.....

I wish I lived above bar that I owned. I used to be a patron at a place like that in Providence. I think the guy said way too much but it looks like the laws in WI are sensible, where criminals are not suddenly victims because they have been shot.

And it sucks the owner had to go through that, but from the sounds of it, the Sheriff's Dept is calling it a clean shoot.
