what to do with old parkerize solution

I just came across some old blaxk oxide park solution that I had stuffed away. Figure I see if it was still good. Had some crusty parts to play with.

Heres the before pic. was quite rusty and pitted..little electrolysis does well on these(pictures suck a bit though

Heres after....the time i got the camera out the parts already started flash rusting...bead blast to come.

all sand blasted up,

sat in park for 30 min about as dark as it is going to get. I figured it would be very uneven as was the various levels of oxidization on the parts. Most likely will paint then with duracoat.
