Vietnam Era Health Retrospective Observational Study

The sad thing is that so many that I worked with (PD) or knew have died from cancer over the years. I'm sure that a study of their service would result in many uncomfortable (to the US Gov't) findings. Maybe that is why they waited so long to implement this study?

A lot of people born in the 40s and 50s have and will continue to die from cancer. We live longer (more time for cancer to manifest). While our technology leaped forward, our knowledge of what would kill us didn't keep pace. Aside from smoking (used to be a lot more smokers!) things like leaded gas, disposal of toxic waste into public waterways or waste pits that leached into aquifers, kids played with mercury cause it made old coins shiny, lack of protective apparatus, I could go on and on...

Little bit late for this 'because we care, hero'

I got the form and sent it, and the dollar back

I am what I am...lol
Ha, same,

And I m still here after spraying epoxy paint in a mist cloud with no mask and washing parts in acetone up to my elbows, so eff off.
