vet take home guns and paper work

out and about to few gun shows I came across some rifles labeled as "take home"
only 1 had documentation which was a pic of WWII erra photo with some soldiers standing by a pile of rifles?

So what does take home or bring back paper work look like.

Its usually just a paper with the description of the gun.
