I'll be in Vermont for about 10 days for training (Burlington/Williston area) in March. What gun shops should I look for? Any shows this time of year?

I'd like to get some bullseye practice in, too. Who can I contact that would take in a stranger for some range time?

Thanks!

powderhorn (http://maps.google.com/maps/place?c...hop&hnear=vt&cid=13968954772151164191)...that shop is amazing, lot of guns, good selection of ammo, lots of accessories... you can go behind the counter and pick up any long gun. make sure you go up the spiral stairs, they have knives and surplus guns up there. and this time of the year i'm pretty sure anywhere off the beaten path with a natural berm is fair game for shooting

Actually, I did make it to Powderhorn last year when I was in town, and you're right - great shop. I scored several hundred rounds of Czech 7.62 x 45mm for my VZ-52 rifle at a very cheap (We-don't-know-what-the-hell-this-stuff-is-for) price.

I'll definitely be back. Just looking for more destinations.
