US army firing the German MG3 fun gun in Germany

Soldiers never change.
Looking at and empty target means one thing....shot the wrong target. Goes something like this
Soldier : Sarge, how come I got no holes on my target?
SFC : cause your a dumb ass that can’t count, and you shot the wrong target
Soldier: I was pretty sure I hit my target. I think the fuy next to me hit my target.
SFC: then you have too many holes.
Soldier: Oh, yeah I guess so. sarge.
SFC: Yeah, don’t get down on yourself this is positive. You just need some positive reenforcement on you counting skill. So give me say 50 push ups to help you count to 50. Now get down and beat your face...and don’t jerk my rip cord with any weak ass pushups or we are posively counting to 100.

Never fired an MG3 but did have the opportunity to fire an MG42 years ago. Frightening rate of fire. It was a beast! Would not want to be the poor sap facing the business end of one.
