If there was anything that could get someone disbarred, this would be it.
I wouldn't even stop there. she has proven that she is not impartial. there is a strong argument that evert case she has ever heard should be overturned while she sits in a jail cell.

How about a 18 USC 242 prosecution against the judge? That could be very impactful on all the activist judges openly flouting the constitution. This one is particularly stupid in that she said the quiet part out loud so there was no doubt of her intent.

it is how racial warfare looks like. use the weakness of the enemy, then destroy your enemy using their own methods.
the times have flipped 180 degrees, and it will remain so for quite some time now.
activists judges plainly rejecting constitution is a de-facto norm now in most liberal states.

It would be great to see some consequences for these kind of abuses but it isn’t going to happen…….especially in NY……..at best she will get promoted.
the factual takeover of legal system by socialists is happening in front of your eyes, as they took over most of the top tier legal schools, made sure proper kind of professors are teaching, eliminated most of the non-compliant ones and enforced strict intolerance for non-supporters, to make sure the majority of produced product is loyal to the general line of the party.
and now with the racial card used as well - we get what we get in the courtrooms and lower circuits. scotus is not taken over yet only because of the factual delay for shit to float up and boomers not aging out fast enough now, but as majority of the content in lower circuits gets indoctrinated and conservatives are getting washed out - in 10-15 years scotus as well will join the ranks, then, well, it will get interesting.
@CrackPot This brings up questions. Who prosecutes this? Has it ever happened in NY before? Has it ever happened in NY for a gun case before? Recently? How about anywhere in the U.S. in the past 5 or 10 years for a gun case? I mean, it sounds good in theory, but how about in real life situations?
At what point is this whole enchilada just over and done? At what point do people start doing "citizens arrests" (whatever the heck that might mean)? At what point do people just take the law into some new level, and what might that be?
What do you see as a way out?

That’s the real question. I don’t know that there is a way out at this point.
They are brainwashing the future of America starting in elementary schools and have been for years.
They own the court system and will wage open lawfare on anyone who disagrees or doesn’t knuckle under and conform. Whether you love or hate Trump there can be no doubt that the left is openly persecuting him and burying him in the courtroom north financially and keeping him off the campaign trail
It has gotten to the point that I don’t even recognize this country anymore. Many here say that the only fix is another civil war. Lord I hope not but sometimes I wonder if they are right.

Then wouldn't it be a start to turn that around? Now ask how that happens. It might take asking the question several times, and take some time to get back to where we were. Everyone became lax and lazy, except the commies.

Seriously though, wouldn’t a comment like that be bulletproof grounds for a mistrial?
There is no way out if rule sets will remain as they are. A lot of things that happen in legal system now are unprecedented, as this system is turning into a class warfare weapon.
