TX - Man Shoots Intruder Armed With Pellet Gun

A 17-year-old was shot by a homeowner during an attempted burglary Friday morning on the northwest side, police said.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. at a home in the 5800 block of Cliff Path.

Investigators said the teen and two other men broke the window next to a door and pointed a pellet gun through it.....

In a city with no majority group, where the plurality is 40% white hispanic, chances are the intruder and homeowner were members of the same group.

Police have not said what charges would be filed against everyone involved.

Hopefully they are referring to the burglars and not the homeowner.
