I use something similiar that I picked up at Collectors Gallery for my Stainless Ruger, works good enough for the outside and keeps the gun protected and looking clean.

I have one, haven't thought about using it on my firearms though, just to wipe down the blades of my knives.

I use the marine version regularly on all my guns, especially those I hunt with. I have never had a corrosion problem.
