I cannot find the source now, but when this was brought up many years ago, during similar circumstances as we are having right now, one aggravating fact was revealed.

After the war, very few of these firearms were returned to the rightful AMERICAN owners.

Like I say, I can't prove it at this moment, but that is what I recall.

Door-to-door confiscation? Nobody does it anymore. Did Obama send troops to confiscate our excellent health care plans? How come we do not have them anymore?

Our media convinced the public that we have crisis of epidemic proportions. Guns, opioids, and lyme disease were classified by liberals as the apocalyptic medical problems we need to solve. Keep your 2A on the paper but in reality you need to stop the spreading of diseases. And if you can't make connection between guns and lyme disease you must be mental.

That is exactly how it is going to be done!

Good point, HARRYM, our guys here can't recall anymore. They are full of admiration for Tootsie Roll now because she will look good when stepping on our rights. We do not engage brain when in love!

Yes, it was I who commented about them not returning those guns......the bastards loaded them onto barges and dumped them in the ocean off the White Cliffs of Dover......where they still reside.

So, they disarmed their people at least twice.......stupid people and power hungry governments never learn.

British are way ahead of us! They have disarmed their public, opened their borders, joined EU, elected socialists, punished working people with hefty taxes and now they are attempting to brexit from all of it.........

We, on the other hand, are at the stage of electing socialists now. Maybe kids of our kids will finally realize how stupid we were and initiate a nice brexit from our "legacy".

I am so tired of these posts. Clinton lost the election almost 3 years ago, get over it. She is not the president and all this woulda, coulda, shoulda bullshit is a waste of bandwidth.

You know who IS president? Trump. Trump can, and would probably like to, take a solid swing at the 2A. Should we all roll over and say well, as long as it is just bump stocks, pistol braces, suppressors, 100 round mags, or what ever he decides he doesn't like today? It doesn't matter who the coach is for team tyranny. It is us vs. them, make peace with that.

I have brought this up before, many times actually, but its always good to bring it up now and then. I work with a bunch of Liberals who were indeed pissed that Trump won. However they tell me on a daily basis to enjoy it while I can. They tell me that the Trump thing is only temporary, the country has changed. They are simply waiting for us old timers to die off. Most Republicans aren't really Republicans and time is on their side. They are hell bent on turning America hard left and are very confident that they will succeed, its just a matter of time. Too much time has been invested in brainwashing grade schools, colleges, immigration, media and the like. They feel Trump is a bump in the road that will be lucky to win a second term and then its back to business for them.

I find myself internally agreeing with them, angers me no doubt, but they are more likely than not to be correct. We have been headed down this path since the sixties. Most countries that went through Socialist movement went through hell before the masses pushed back. America may well be headed to Socialist Hell before it snaps back, IF it ever snaps back.

What are some gun rights in comparison with screwed up healthcare? Liberals and us were raped equally with that rock solid incompetency and since then nothing was done anyway.

We have given Afghanistan to Taliban, we have given Kurds, who were fighting with us, to Erdogan.........Why not to sacrifice bunch of old white guys with their silly hobbies?

We will live in what we did not fight against!

Please, do not miss my point entirely. You will keep your guns in the same way how you would keep your old flip phone. Nobody will be knocking on your doors.......Everything else will be gone.
