tracks - what type

Not sure if anyone can make these out, just noticed them today and and the snow must have melted some but I am wondering if anyone may know what made these. Pictures are not the best either.

There is only one dog that I know of that runs around the neighbor hood and he could not make prints this big. These are right off of my driveway that leads into the once wooded area. Thanks.

Nah, his tracks were in my back yard, not by the edge of the driveway.


Thanks, David. I did not think a yote would come so close and I knew they were not deer tracks.

it could be a coyote--I was just guessing dog. the coyote tracks are typically smaller than a large dog though and the coyote pattern also tends to be more aligned and wander less than your typical carefree canine couch potato.

They can get VERY close--brazen actually. Like most animals living in an urban environment they see you more often than you see them.
