I'm pretty sure I was fishing next to you and your kids, with my girlfriend and her son. I was psyched to see the little guy get the big fish!
 
We had our annual derbyat the club about 6 weeks ago. We ended up in conflict with the soap box derby and opening day of little league, which held attendance down to a little over 200 kids (we've had close to 350 som previous years). Seeing the look on kid about 7 or 8 who's managed to set a solid hook into a 20" trout has got to be better than anything I can think of that doesn't involve extremely loud noises or the removal of some clothing.

Derek, I was talking about the Stonybrook Club trout derby, but that sure looks like the same little guy with the big fish that we fished next to.
