A few more laws should help, right?

Three dead, 15 shot, including two-year-old in seven Saturday shootings in Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — At least three people are dead after 15 people including a 2-year-old were shot over a string of seven separate shooting incidents on Saturday in Baltimore.

The violence began just after 12:30 a.m., when officers in the Central District received a shot spotter alert in the 600 block of W. Franklin Street.

Police were alerted of a 2-year-old that had just arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Detectives think the child was shot nearby on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in a case of road rage that stemmed from a dispute at a red light.

Police are offering a $15,000.00 reward for information leading to an arrest in that case.

They have a person of interest in custody.

Two hours later, shots rang out again in the Central District, this time in the 800 block of Guilford Avenue.

There police found a 28-year-old woman shot to the leg. A second victim later walked into a local hospital with gunshot wounds to the body. Detectives think both victims were shot at the same time and location, but are unsure of any motive right now.

Just after 12:15 p.m., police were notified of three different shooting victims that had walked into hospitals. Investigators believe all three were shot inside a home in the 800 block of E. 22nd Street.

A SWAT Team and Hostage Negotiation Team were called to the home and took a person of interest into custody . Each of the victim's is expected to survive their injuries.

Less than an hour later, officers in the Southeast District were called to the 200 block of Herring Court, where they found a 25-year-old man shot. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Hours later just after 7:20 p.m. a 32-year-old man walked into an East Baltimore hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. Detectives aren't yet sure where the incident happened.

A little over an hour later in the Western District, police were dispatched for a shooting in the Poe Homes area. There, two men ages 20 and 23 were found shot. The 20-year-old was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Not long after, an 18 and 22-year-old man walked into the hospital and told police they were shot at the location as well. Police are still looking for suspects and a motive in that case.

The last incident happened just before 11:30 p.m.

Officers on patrol heard gunshots coming from the 5000 block of Palmer Avenue. After searching the area, police found two victims, one of which was suffering life threatening injuries. The victim was taken to area hospital where he later died. A third victim was later located at an area hospital.

According to police. the other two are being treated for their injuries and expected to survive.

Other than the persons of interest taken into custody in the 22nd Street triple shooting and the shooting of the 2-year-old boy, police haven't announced arrests in any of the cases.

There have been 270 murders in Baltimore thus far in 2019.

If you have information to share, police are asking that you call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

I find it ironic that they call it "metro crime stoppers" instead of "metro crime solvers". Civilians are usually the ones who stop crimes.

View attachment 307753 Elijah Cummings needs to pay more attention to Baltimore than attacking the President....

Like our Markey , the only time he haunts that place is election time.
I doubt he's stupid enough to go wandering around that hellhole for no reason.
Show up with very heavy security , promise to keep other peoples money flowing to the FSA and GTFO.

Looks like Baltimore was getting jealous of Chicago's murder rate...
