Ever since the government tried to FORCE mutilation of brass, the crazy prices have started for once fired brass. These listings will go away after the auctions end.

Compare that to my auction win, 2700 pounds of brass $5400.
My auction win was the LAST pickup BEFORE the mutilation attempt happened.

CRAZY!!!!

Holy crap - that is a huge price increase. I had started hoarding brass a couple of years ago. And have continued to pick up brass whenever I see a good deal. Sounds like this was a good thing.

I wonder how long before this massive increase hits the streets and forces ammo prices up even further.

I look at this and see it is most likely private buyers that simply "want" the brass.

If you look at the first link to the brass in Kittery, the market value of the brass as scrap is around $4k. The value as spent ammo is around $10k. Somone is paying a 40% premium on this. I can't believe a business is going to do that.

Trust me.... it's ALREADY happening.
