thinking of trying out this ammo..

Defense Ammo. Anything that's handy and will hurt them. .38 +P 125 JHP, .357 LSW, .40 S&W 155 gr Gold Dot, 12GA #4 1 1/8 oz, and .45 230 ball.

IMO it's just trash gimmick ammo, stick with normal JHPs
instead. Theres a reason there's only a handful of small
companies making this kind of crap- people only buy it once
before they figure out they got ripped off.

That is pretty expensive ammo. There are lots more rounds that have a proven record on the street. Speer Gold Dots, Hornady TAP JHP, Federal HydraShok, to name just a few.

+1 Do not waste your money at the least, or your life at the most. [thinking]

defense ammo in .50AE and .45 Colt??? Who the hell is CCW with a Colt Peacemaker, or keeps a Desert Eagle in the nightstand?

Like was said earlier, there's plenty of good, proven defensive ammo out there. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Neither. Reliability, consistent expansion, and accuracy...Assuming
you are looking at high quality ammo, the velocity and energy
are not big enough issues to worry about.

+1- actual tested performance (whether its balgel or feedback from
actual use by LEOs, etc) is way more important than the numbers
on the box.
