It's the establishment democrats in action. They get gigantic checks in the mail from Bloomberg so they do whatever the paymaster wants. I always find it oddly ironic how the left can complain to the clouds about big money in politics but when it comes to them it's "by any means necessary". If weren't for being immoral there would be no morals at all.

Pretty much. Except for presidential elections, there often is not a single republican on a ballot. So I will often vote for a any Democrat who is not a member of Our Revolution or the Democratic Socialists of America. Difficult though as those two groups make up 75% of the local candidates.

On the whole, I don't like the 2 party system. Can agree Dems are the worst but Repubs are not too far behind.

Dems and Repubs are the same. I am often called a libtard on here because many of the republican NES members like their issues black and white (its easier for them, they are not great thinkers). The truth is I am far to the right of Repubs on most issues.

Question: If 2A were an absolute rock solid right and could never be taken away, how many on here would be OK with Democrats? Like JFK? I'm guessing many would be OK with that. The truth is, until this administration, the only thing that separated the parties was guns and birth control. Now, our entire way of life is under assault and the only speed bump stopping it are the Repubs? Yeah I'm not feeling great about that, they caused the mess because they are very much in league with Democrats. For now, they support 2A, but when will these same weak-willed repubs you count on, give in to "common sense" controls?

Framed by Swamp Republicans, and RINO's. Which is why I don't understand all the people who blindly follow the Republican party. Its almost as if they are worse than the Dems. At least with the Dems, there is no pretense with who they are, Republicans still garner support from conservatives than sell them right now the river on almost every issue. The first two years of Trump's presidency could have been transformative for this country. Instead we had two years of "never Trump" RINO's blocking the conservative agenda better than the Dems could ever dream of doing.

Identifying as one of two political parties is stupid. Most of us have varied backgrounds and beliefs and don't fit into either party. Personally I'm socially liberal, financially conservative and I own firearms. I went to Catholic school but refused the believe the stuff they were trying to force on me. Who do I vote for? The social issues are the problem. The entire country is so deeply divided on every single social issue but they're the easiest issues to ignore. We should all be screaming at the government to repair the infrastructure and get college and health insurance costs more reasonable. Instead we're more worried about nonsense issues like what bathroom trans people use.
