I purchase a used TX22 SCR. I called Taurus to register the pistol in my name in case of recalls, info etc. I gave the woman the serial # and told her I purchased used. The first words from her were there's no warranty. I'm thinking, I didn't call about that. As I explained why I called, she repeated 3 times, there's no warranty. That pissed me off. I guess you buy a budget gun, you get this type of "customer support". S&W, Sig, Glock have never don't that to me.
Yesterday I traded the gun.
Done sounding off.
 
When the slide broke on my TX22 a few years ago, it took a little bit of back and forth for them to cover shipping both ways. It was a senior manager I had to talk to get this done. But for a $350ish pistol with “no warranty” I was happy for the most part with the service
