Oh ya ..there was the guy that ran a party supply place, the running joke was that the initials stood for "Kids & Sex" guy was a well known pervert, they finally got him for supplying porno and alcohol to minors (boys). He got out of jail and went right back to helping run the 4th of July Parade like nothing happened. That and more I don't want to get into here.. probably a little before your time.

THen there was the photographer for the local paper (not Joe Hakey the other one) who was a well known pedophile, when they finally got him (rented a basement of a house on Pearl St as a dark room) they found pictures and lots of them, over many years, including some prominent citizens in town that he had abused.

Can you name a state that executes child molesters? In every state they seem to get long prison sentences, but I don't recall ever reading that one has been executed.

The State may not execute them, but that does not mean they are not going to die, or wish they were dead.

Even if that guy is up in 22 in Cambridge, he is in total isolation.

When he gets convicted, he will be in administrative segregation for the rest of his life.

Defrocked pedophile priest John J. Geoghan, whose case helped set the stage for the resignation of Cardinal Bernard F. Law of the Boston archdiocese, died yesterday shortly after reportedly being attacked in the state prison here.

Joseph L. Druce, 37, who was serving a life sentence at the Souza-Baranowski prison, was charged with murder in connection with the former priest's death, according to District Attorney John J. Conte.

Mr. Geoghan died at UMass Memorial - HealthAlliance Leominster Campus after being strangled at the prison shortly before noon, Mr. Conte said, adding that he will seek a murder indictment.

Mr. Geoghan had been in protective custody as a precautionary measure, but still had some contact with other inmates, said Kelly Nantel, Department of Correction spokeswoman.

No need. He's dead. Tried to hang himself last night. Never made it to the hospital.
