I've seen it mentioned in a few places (not NES) that the alloy frame on these may wear making the slide loose. The comments appear to be a concern, not that the poster actually saw this. Also, at one point I had a 59 and while you could tell it was well used, the amount of play between the slide and frame was inconsequential.
Has anyone actually seen first hand one of these where frame wear was an issue?
I ask because I'm planning to buy one and may have to do it based on pictures alone. Which I won't do if this is a common problem.
I know the 5906 has a steal frame so this wouldn't be a problem, but it also doesn't have the adjustable sight.
And before anyone says it, Yes I know there are "better" guns, I'll buy one of those too. But for now I'm looking for some first hand info and I couldn't think of any place better to find it than NES.
Thanks all
