Sig 1911

would anyone pick Sig Sauer 1911 Compact 45 over S&W 1911?
if so . why?
I really feel lost since i was able to locate Sig Sauer 1911 Compact 45 in Massachusetts for sale. Have to make up mi mind, need a bit help

I bought a fullsize and compact Sig 1911 (I'm guessing from the same shop you found yours at).

My advice; do it. They are amazing pistols.

go S&W

met a sig owner at the range, he had a commander size 1911.

this was his primary CCW. he began shooting, got 4 shots off, when

he attempted the fifth the barrel bushing broke in half, the spring and

its cover flew off and the gun came out of battery. no too impressive.

S&W has about the best warranty and customer service is about the best.

I like Sig, my duty carry is Sig and have not had any issues (not 1911). 229 40, however I have a S&W 1911 and love it. I think you would be happy with either.
