Not really a sniper rifle but I can at least see where I'm hitting at 100 yards now.

Those are some seriously nice rifles! I can't even post mine as I don't want to ugly up the thread now. What is that PT-91 chambered in? Looks vicious!

30-06 Remington 740 shoots 2"-3" 5 shot groups @100y with open sights. Not bad for a gun labeled as a POS by most.

And my Mossberg 817 to snipe out the little critters.

BTW: In case you notice, tinfoil on the table legs is so my cats don't dig at it, ugly but it works.

Chambered in .308. It is accurate enough for what I need and I like that I can pull the scope & bipod off quickly (scope on quickrelease mounts) and I have a proven MBR.

This is my long range rifle, an ICFRA Target Rifle made from a trued and sleeved Remington action, Krieger 30" Palma contour barrel with a .308 Winchester '95 Palma chamber throated for Sierra 155 Match Kings. Rear sight is a PNW with a Gehmann adjustable aperture. Front sight is a Stallings Machine 30 mm Rightsight with a 1.5X magnifier and a Gehmann adjustable aperture. No bipods allowed in this kind of long distance shooting, only prone with a shooting coat and sling for support.

Last long range match I went to went like this:
800 yds: 139-2X
900 yds: 142-3X
1000 yds: 142-3X
Each distance has a max 150 points.

New 700 Remmy Build

Build is starting to come together, after about a 5 month wait the stock came in last night. The rifle started out as a 700 SPS 20" and I had the barrel threaded to accept the VAIS brake. The base is a Badger 20 degree and now comes shopping for a scope.

I am really leaning towards a Nightforce and have to narrow down my choices to the NXS 3.5 x 15 x 56 with the NP-R1 or R2 or the 3.5 x 15 x 50 with the Mil Dot or MLR reticle.

Rings I am thinking of the Nightforce or Badger still deciding.
Other modifications I plan for this rifle will be:

GA Precision
Badger Ordnance Tactical Bolt Knob - installed
Install G.A. Precision Bolt stop/release Mod on Remington 700

overall, if your hunting (which i don't do), the choate is heavy....

if your shooting off the bench, the B&C better IMO.
