Ask the highpower shooters where the next mid range prone match will be. I've never heard of one where F class is not welcome. You just get to shoot on the really hard target.

I know Reading, MA runs them some what often.

MinesBroken, that TRG is awesome, and I'm loving that GAP Greg.

** Shameless plug alert **

I have a Savage 111 .30-06 on consignment at Four Seasons for cheap if anyone is looking to get into the Snipers/hunters market [wink]

I needed two more hunting rifles like a hole in the head, but what the hell:

The one on the left is a Winchester 88 in .308 with a nice old Redfield 1.75 fixed power, post-reticle scope . I had one years ago that I never should have sold, so when I saw this one I traded a rifle I don't use for it.

The one on the right is Ruger #1 in .257 Roberts that I got a while ago. Still haven't shot it!

lately

Thanks. This was my first crack at a home-made camo job. It turned out well enough that I was asked to duplicate the pattern on a friend's rifle, as well as his teenage son's paintball gun (so I guess I know it's cool), but I couldn't find the sifter anywhere. I tried all kinds of alternative things, and none did the job. When the weather started to get better, and the beach toys began to appear at the local toy store, I snapped up a small pile of them. (Odd looks from the old woman at the cash register.) Of course the original one showed up under a misplaced box within 24 hours of buying the new ones; perfectly predictable.

At this point I have done nearly a dozen guns, boxes, and even fabric (like I used to cover the scope with). I can pretty much replicate it in my sleep at this point. As yahoo-redneck as it is, I now fantasize about doing an old pick-up truck! Someone stop me before I camo again...
