Salem, NH Walmart Ammo

ok so i went to Hudson walmart to get this Remington 12 Guage that i saw on there website and they told me that they don't sell firearms anymore...do any of you know where they still sell firearms in southern new hampshire...and do you need a permit to buy a shotgun/rifle if your out of state?

wally worlds in Leicester and Sturbridge are both selling ammo.

Oxford Wal-Mart as well.

If you are a resident, they are required to ask for a DL, etc. Out of state requires a LTC/FID card.

So if you are now Mass resident (w/ MA DL), but keep your guns in a safe in a hunting/vacation lodge in NH, so you don't have any "paper" in MA, Walmart will not sell ammo to you, even though it will never cross the border.

I've been told that it is company policy.

They can make any policy they want, including policies that lose customers.

My experience is only the ammo dept. clerks bother to ask for ID. The typical checkout person who may or may not speak much English rarely bothers.
