Sad News for the NFA world

I am saddened to report that Patricia 'Pat' Ballou, beloved wife of James Ballou (author of "Rock in a Hard Place") passed away peacefully this evening after a short illness. Pat loved the camaraderie of those involved in the NFA world. She was was fixture at the Hiram Maxim shoots, the North Country shoots, and over 20 Knob Creek shoots. She supported Jim through the research and publishing of his book. They were married at the North Country Shoot in 1992. She was well known for her wit, her kindness, and her big heart. She had a long career of protecting neglected and mistreated children; which was her other passion. She will be sorely missed. Patricia S. Ballou 1946-2011 Goodnight Mother, Rest in Peace.
