For the MSRP, you could have a piston driven LWRC or LMT. Think I will wait and see how they shake out.
Bill Ruger must be rolling in his grave.
It's no wonder Troy can't keep up.
I'll have to check it out. I've always wondered how to make an AR-15 too heavy, inaccurate, and cost too much. That's the Ruger way. I wonder if it takes proprietary mags that, "I'm sorry, we won't sell to civilians?"

Yeah, lots of Troy hardware on this Ruger. I am surprised by the price point. Suggested retail is $1,995. Even if this ends up being a $1600 street price, one can put together a great AR for that kind of money, or pick up a Colt 6920 for even less (current market conditions aside). I like some of Ruger's products, but for that kind of money I would take a Colt or build a LaRue or Noveske rifle.
when they're shown blasting away, they look like 2 bobble-head dolls.
Will it have a warning manual printed on the side?
1 in 9 twist, on a piston driven AR? Ewwww.

I'm not arguing but why is that a bad combo?
That video sucked. Not saying I could have done any better, but damn. If you're gonna try to sell a $2000 rifle, at least put some $$ into the marketing budget.
