RIP Vermont: update the restrictions passed the House

Lady I just spoke to laughed when I guessed that I wasn't the only one calling today and said "no, definitely not". Keep the pressure!! Takes just seconds to call!!! 802 828-3333

I used my old address up there.

If you want to stir the pot, use 1 Winooski Park, Colchester VT, 05439. That's the address for Saint Michael's College.

So you’re saying some of us should move to Vermont and run for office?

Only one of them has returned my phone call to them and NONE of them have returned my email. Legislation without representation. Scott's office just got the call from me moments ago. Wifey to follow. Round two of emails to go out today. I am hounding them. I am being a royal pain in their ass.

Supposedly the bill has yet to arrive at the Governors desk as its being prepared by the senate clerk. The people that answer the phone are taking notes. Not sure if its BS or if Gov Scott is going to use the data to make a decision. If people can continue to call, it would be awesome. Make sure you pick a town that you can say you are from.

Wow. One of those was even from a free state. All the rest of them make sense.

You mean to say nearly all of them who voted yes are from 2A-infringing states? Shocker!

Madison Knoop, a college freshman who organized last weekend’s march in Montpelier, called the bill’s advancement “such a good first start.”

Wow! That's pretty messed up.
Any of them R's or are they all D's and I's?

Its always been my opinion you should only be allowed to run for office in the state you were born in or have lived in 30 years. To prevent transplants.

That's a bit harsh. People move all the time for lots of reasons. If the pay wasn't so bad I'd be tempted to move to Vermont and run for office. You pretty much need a second job or a spouse with a job to be in VT .gov. To be fair, their website only mentioned salary, not kickbacks and bribes.
