rifle transporting and usage question

Just recieved my FID a few days ago and just wanted to double check the law for transporting and using a rifle or shotgun in NH. With my MA FID what do I have to do to comply with NH law for transporting the firearm? and what is the law for discharging the gun at land owned by a friend?

AFAIK, the only law regarding rifle/shotgun transport in NH is make sure they are unloaded while transporting them. When discharging firearms, I believe you must be at least 300 feet away from a residence unless you have permission from the homeowner, and you can't be inside a town compact or "city limits".

No need for the FID in NH as we don't have one up here.
