Remington and Sandy Hook

A casual search turned up quite a few organizations related to the Sandy Hook incident. One group raised $12 million and recently asked for federal funds because they spent so much and wanted to keep the gravy train rolling.

"Mr. Stephens said no one expected the announcement a week after Thanksgiving that the plant was set to close."

AYFKM? What did they THINK would happen? What did the EXPECT? Do they complain to the governor about it? Do they just sit there and stew on it, and crap their pants now? Big lack of action seems to be happening there.

I would bet that half of those in that plant are fuds and vote for gun control.
The union, I would bet didn't help them financially either.
Lack of proper product direction, quality control, future product development and marketing to changing markets all helped drive that nail in deeper.
When a product is just a product with a name. The legacy means nothing as they are nothing like they were years ago.
