I have recently added a CZ-82 to my collection.
Great Gun and incredible shooter, I really like this firearm.
Only have one problem with this gun that god awfull painted on finish.
I would like to refinish this firearm in rust blue my favorite finish.
I do my own refinishing using Pilkingtons rust blue , this stuff works great.
OK now for the problem when i rust blue i always bead blast with glass beads before i start the blueing process. Im worried that the import marks that are either burned on with a laser or shallow peened into the slide will come off when i bead blast. If anyone has seen these marks they know what i mean.
Im pretty sure removing import marks is a bad idea but im not sure if there are any alternatives. Im also sure its agianst the law.
Any suggestions
