I know someone who knows someone who has an old and very perfect firearm. He is a MA resident, and he was given the firearm probably 30 years ago from an out of state person. He does not have a MA LTC, but still owns it.
He wants to sell it to a NH resident whom he knows, but both parties want to do what is right.
What is the best approach for this MA resident to sell it to this NH resident?
I would think give it to another trusted MA resident to claim as his own for the last 30 years who can transfer it to the NH resident legally.
Any thoughts?
