Queen decorates Nepali for Afghanistan heroics

Wow- Over 400 rounds and 17 grenades plus -

"At one point, unable to shoot, he used his machine gun tripod to knock down a militant who was climbing the walls of the compound.

Two insurgents were still attacking by the time he ran out of ammunition, but he set off a Claymore mine to repel them."

Not to be f'd with.

I can see some stupid drunk redneck f-ing with a small asian man in a funny uniform and ending up with his throat slit open and bleeding to death on the sidewalk.

This quote says it all!

"I had so many of them around me that I thought I was definitely going to die so I thought I'd kill as many of them as I could before they killed me."

First of all.....I was never a "Hero" in combat......I just did my job the best I could.

But I witnessed Hero's, and I know what it is like to get to be in that frame of mind. Once you know you are probably going to die, you get pissed off and decide
to take out as many of the bastards as you can before it's over.

I think the Japanese Samurai had a word for it.....(I just can't remember what it was.)

Outstanding!..........................................
