Public Ranges?

Anyone know of any public ranges that allow center fire rifles indoors?

I was thinking more along the lines of 5.56 and 7.62, I know some ranges only allow rimfire and pistol calibers indoors

I believe On Target in Dracut allows rifle calibers. I shot 5.56 there before. It’s been a year or so since I went there. The guys that work there seemed really nice, even though a bit pre-occupied monitoring the boobs on the public range. They have a public range and a members’ range for a fee you can join. Pay that fee. You do not want to be on that, or any public range unless you don’t mind being flagged by people trying to take Instagram pictures. They seemed to get groups of guys/girls going in for some fun shooting before heading out to clubs, which is fine, until they start spinning around posing with the guns.

AFS does.. or at least it used to. New owner there now. Awesome dude, but not sure if any policies have changed.

public range suggestion.. go at an off peak hour... weekday morning or day. Avoid nights and weekends. Far less idiots.
