problems with trespass and hunters again...

My Guess is that getting permission in KY is a little bit easier than up here

Many people will give permission and many won't as they supplement their own food supply with wild game and usually invest in feeding the game off season. All depends on where you go. Most will give permission to hunt coyotes, rabbit and squirrels but maybe not deer.

Got a solution for the atv trails. Get a few scrap 2x4's, drive some long nails in them, lay them across the trails nails up, and camouflage accordingly. Also some thin steel cable going across the trees across the trails would work great. Not your fault if they get hurt and no tresspassing is visibly posted. I can help you out with some homemade explosive trips for the stands. No injury with those except some temporary hearing loss/seeing spots/soiled pants. Haha screw the fudds!

if only it was legal to do this though

Are you a Sierra Clubber?

Where brown and green open carry and ask to see there hunting license... Now you have there name address and info.... Or oil the rungs on the latter stands half way up....Or if you find other vehicle flatten all 4 tires.. Sugar in then glass tank etc...steal there stands cameras etc.. Walk up.to the tree they are in and start cutting it down.. A good Wack on a ladder stand will nock of the bottom half when there in it.... Just make sure into have a bigger scarey gun with you..... If they are fudds a ar or ak should work...

Lots of good advice here. When you are in jail and you have sold the land to pay for your defense attorney, you will no longer have a problem. [hmmm] Some of the people advocating for drastic action are probably doing the same thing you are complaining about. Didn't you ever hunt on private land before you bought your 20 acres? Maybe you walked down a power line to get to a spot. No difference... You obviously have the right to post it but if you don't live on it, I don't see reason to care if others hunt there. The deer move in and out as they please, their home range is much larger than 20 acres. Posting the land is: expensive, not effective, and could lead to a confrontation that has a bad outcome. Plus it doesn't seem to help your blood pressure. You said that the land was cheap. Why not enjoy it. If someone else gets to enjoy it too, you should be happy. Tell the next guy you own the land and he will probably buy you a beer. (Or go all Rambo and hope for the best.) Hope you are hunting it today. If someone comes by and happens to push a buck by your stand well...[grin]
