I am trying to determine if one of my Springfield M1As is a preban. Does anyone know the serial number ranges? basically one has a bayo lug and the other does not.

From looking at some of the numbers mine was built in 94, just not sure which month.
Bummer. Call Springfield and they'll give you the date and catalog number/original configuration.
