Post-ban High Capacity Magazines

It is my understanding that under MA law FFLs in MA are permitted to own post ban (>1994) high capacity magazines (+10 round capacity).
If this is true is it true for all FFLs or only dealers / manufacturers?

This is a MA dealer license exemption. FFL without the MA dealer license means you need to follow the AWB.

You must have an MA Dealer's license not just an FFL to get the full AWB immunity.

If you're thinking that a C&R will let you buy new standard cap mags, it won't.

Even if I had an MA dealers license and an FFL, I don’t think I would use a post-ban large capacity magazine for anything other than selling to law enforcement.

Depending on which version of the new gun bill that gets passed, your position might be the law. Today it is not.
