Polish TT-33 question

Are the TT-33 designed so the empty mag will drop out ?
Also the mag release seems to be on delay, also sometimes I feel like it has to be pushed to far to work. Any tips or mods

I just received my polish one last week and the mag release has to be pushed in far to release as well or it feels like its stuck. I haven't shot it yet but I don't think the mag is just supposed to drop out when empty, at least my Romanian Tok isn't like that.

My Polish TT needs a little "caressing" to work it out, especially the unissued mag that came with it. I think the machining on these things is far from perfect.
