She would never think about leaving. No place to go to and this has been her home for 28 yrs and I'm her daddy. She likes to sit with me in the yard but I have to very careful because we have hawks in the area.

Had all kinds of dogs for many years. We reached the point where we couldn't take the heartbreak of losing them any longer. That's why the parrot. If all goes well she will outlive me. (Can reach the 80s). When son Lance and family come to visit they bring their dog Sven. Megan and Sven have become buddies. Jack.

Sitting here half in the bag and having a pizza with my parrot, Megan. She likes the cheese and crust. No onion. Exiting, right? Jack.

Nothing wrong with it at all. These days I prefer my couch, my tv, my dog and cat. Much better than most people out in public.

Have a double yellow headed amazon - 16 years now. Can be a pain the ass but is very sociable as well... Good luck with yours.

Jack, it may not seem exciting at first but it's those little things with family, friends, and pets that make one grateful to be around....
